Welcome to The Little Cactus, where we don't just sell plants, we sell little bundles of prickly joy. Our business was founded by me, a self-proclaimed crazy plant lady who just can't get enough of those spiky beauties. I spend my days surrounded by cacti and succulents, giving them all the love and attention they deserve (which, let's be honest, is more than some people get).

So, why should you choose The Little Cactus for your plant needs? Well, for starters, we've got the most fabulous selection of cacti and succulents in all of Australia. Want a tiny cactus that looks like it's wearing a tiny sombrero? We've got you covered. How about a succulent that looks like a pineapple? We've got that too. Our plants are like the little black dresses of the gardening world - classic, versatile, and guaranteed to make you look good.

But wait, there's more! When you order from The Little Cactus, you're not just getting a plant. You're getting a personalized note from yours truly, filled with terrible jokes and dad-level puns. You're getting the peace of mind that comes with knowing your plant was grown with love and care (and maybe a little bit of off-key singing). And if that's not enough to convince you, just know that our plants have been known to attract good luck, wealth, and the occasional swoon from passers-by.

In all seriousness, we take pride in what we do here at The Little Cactus. We're not just a business, we're a family (a really spiky, green, sometimes-surprisingly-delicate family). So if you're looking for some new green friends to add to your life, look no further than The Little Cactus. We promise not to prick you (at least not intentionally).

    Product Description

Sedum Orbea Variegata, also known as Sedum Hernandezii, Sedum Sieboldii Mediovariegatum, Sedum Japonicum Tokyo Sun, or the Orbea Variegated. Care Guide: 1. Location: It loves full sun but will tolerate partial shade. If it’s inside, put it near the window where it can get lots of indirect sunlight. If it’s outdoors, place it where it can get some afternoon shade to prevent sunburn. 2. Watering: As a succulent, this plant is drought-resistant and doesn't require frequent watering. It’s better to underwater than overwater it. Water only when the soil is completely dry. Water more sparingly during winter months as the plant is not actively growing. 3. Soil: A well-draining soil is crucial to prevent root rot. You can use a commercially available cactus or succulent potting mix. Alternatively, make your own by mixing equal parts of sand, loamy garden soil and peat moss or compost. 4. Feeding: Sedum Orbea Variegata generally doesn’t need a lot of feeding. However, you can give it a bit of balanced, slow-release fertilizer at the beginning of the growing season for an added nutrient boost. 5. Propagation: This plant can be propagated easily by division or by using stem or leaf cuttings. 6. Temperature: Sedum Orbea Variegata likes warmth. It is frost tender and cannot tolerate temperatures below freezing. If you are in an area with cold winters, consider growing your Sedum in a container so that it can be moved indoors or to a sheltered spot during the cold months. 7. Pest control: Watch out for common succulent pests like mealybugs and aphids. If you notice an infestation, treat it with a mixture of water and mild detergent or an insecticidal soap. Remember, like most succulents, the Sedum Orbea Variegata prefers to be kept on the dry side rather than too damp. Providing it with the right growing conditions will keep it happy and healthy.
